Fresh out of an old Maine estate collection.
Huge wood carving, carved out of a solid log. Beautiful hand-carved lion, and lioness with her cubs. Elaborate border.
Measures approximately 27″ x 12 1/2″ x 4″ at widest point. Weighs well over 17 lbs. Hard wood. This was stored away for over 30 years.
It was very dusty, cleaned the front somewhat to better see the detail.
Has normal age cracks, very solid. An enormous
amount of hand-carving, extreme detail. Please see photos as to type and condition.
